How to use container loading calculator
This step-by-step guide explains how to use the online container loading calculator for calculating the most optimal arrangement of items within a container.
1. Enter items you want to pack into a container

You start by entering items you want to pack. For each item you need to specify the following:
- ID - The item's name or id, e.g. fridge, washing machine, bicycle.
- Length - The item's length.
- Width - The item's width.
- Height - The item's height.
- Quantity - The number of items to be packed.
- Lock - Indicates whether the item is horizontally locked. If checked, the item will not be flipped on the side. This is intended for fragile or upright-only items.
- Color - The item's color in the 3D visualization.
Note that dimensions are specified only as numbers, without the unit. It's only important that all dimensions for all items and the container are entered in the same unit. E.g. meters (m), centimeters (cm), feet (ft), inches (in), etc.
2. Specify container size

Next you need to specify the container dimensions:
- Length - The container's length.
- Width - The container's width.
- Height - The container's height.
3. Calculate the result

Once you have entered all items and specified the container size, just click on the "Pack" button to calculate the best loading option. After the calculation is completed, the result will be shown in the table below the button, with the following values displayed:
- Volume - How much of the container's volume was packed.
- Items - The number of items packed.
- Complete - Are all items you entered packed.
- Visualization - Clicking on the icon will open a 3D view of the packed container.

By clicking on the left and right arrow icons at the bottom, you can see the order in which items are packed in the container. Each item type is shown in the color assigned to it in the items table.
